This series of on-demand RO DBT Skills Classes recorded by Dr Sophie Rushbrook, Michelle Gormley and Kirsten McAteer, is intended for RO DBT Practitioners and Skills Instructors who would like to see these lessons modelled. 

Entry Requirement: You must have started Level 2 training or have completed an intensive training (pre-covid). 

There is no expiry date for accessing these lessons once purchased.

The RO DBT Skills Classes are taught by:

Dr Sophie Rushbrook, D.Clin Psy, is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist who is the Head of the Intensive Psychological Therapy Service in Dorset. This is a tertiary service for adults with severe and complex difficulties in the community who are, or have been, suicidal and/or self harming. This service has been given a Beacon status in the UK since 2001. An award provided to services that make a significant difference to modernising the NHS.

Michelle Gornley, RMN, is a Psychological Therapist and the RO-DBT Team Lead at the Intensive Psychological Therapy Service where she works with and is supervised by Dr Sophie Rushbrook. This is a tertiary service for adults with severe and complex difficulties in the community who are, or have been, suicidal and/or self harming.

Kirsten McAteer, MA, LPC is a therapist and eating disorder specialist in Portland, OR.  In March of 2019, she opened (with fellow senior Radically Open DBT (RO DBT) clinician LiLin Hally, LCSW) Abri Radically Open DBT – a RO DBT clinic in Portland that offers individual therapy and classes for adults and adolescents.
