Gregory A. Peebles is an anxiety specialist and is Clinical Director of The Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy program at St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute in St. Louis, MO. He received graduate degrees from Washington University in St. Louis and Missouri Baptist University. In addition to his clinical training, he has a research background in Neuroscience and Pharmacology and was awarded a grant from the National Institute of Health (NIH) to support his research. He has a profound interest in the integration of salient findings of Neuroscience with that of Evidence Based Clinical Interventions.
His clinical experience includes specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and anxiety-related disorders. He completed a two-year post-graduate fellowship under the supervision of Dr. C. Alec Pollard. In addition, he has specialized training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and has provided family, group, and individual therapy in a community-based crisis stabilization setting. He is intensively trained and supervised in Radical Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy and is a 2020 RO Clinician Scholar Award Recipient.
Gregory is a member of the senior Clinician team for RO-DBT and is an approved introductory trainer. He is delighted to help disseminate RO-DBT to other clinicians. In his spare time, he enjoys time outdoors and is an avid pastel and pencil artist.
